was founded in 2000 by Executive/Artistic Director Michael Dowling who saw a need to re-establish people's connection to art by bringing art into communities and involving people directly in the creative process. It has since expanded exponentially in scope and impact, while maintaining its focus on engagement and education through artmaking.
